Families with children ages six and older are invited to attend January's Art Adventures workshop. In conjunction with the special exhibition Ansel Adams: A Legacy, the title of this month's workshop is "Click Like Ansel Did."

Local photographer Sophoan Sorn will introduce the group to the works of the great American photographer Ansel Adams. A visit to the special exhibition of his work will give children a chance to see some of his beautiful photographs.

Sophoan will also demonstrate how photographers work and will take a photograph of each child. The hands-on activity for the day will feature making and decorating a frame for this portrait that the children can take home.

Admission to the workshop is free with museum admission: $5 adults; $2.50 seniors and youth, 10-17; and children under 10 are free with an adult.
