The San Joaquin Delta Kids College Chamber Music Strings Class will perform selected works for violin, viola and cello in this first-time showcase event at the Haggin. Young musicians ages 10 and up who have studied string instruments for three years or more are admitted to this intensive one-week class at Delta College, which is taught by Stephanie Chaio. Chiao is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music, a cellist with the Stockton Symphony and President of the American String Teachers Association, Stockton Chapter. Admission to the museum for this event is $5 for adults 18 and up; $2.50 for youth ages 10-17, students with a valid I.D., and seniors 65 and older.
