20th Annual Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Saturday, March 24, 2012
10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Advance reservations required:
$15 adults; $10 children under 12
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, started by the Museum Store Auxiliary in 1993, has become an established tradition much anticipated by museum members.
This popular springtime event is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic story, Alice in Wonderland. Special party guests will include Alice, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and other characters from the book, brought to life by local drama students. Be on the lookout for special guests this year.
Tea is served from an elegant silver tea service, along with delicious canapés, cookies, and other teatime treats prepared by Museum Store Auxiliary members.
Museum members will receive their invitations during the first week in March. Make your reservations early, as seating is limited and this event often sells out. Prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
If you are interested in attending this event but are not a museum member, start or renew your membership today. Contact Membership Coordinator Kristen Anema at (209) 940-6316 or kanema@hagginmuseum.org for more information. |
