Bouquets to Art 2010 at the de Young Museum

The focus of April’s day trip to the de Young Museum will be the 26th annual Bouquets to Art exhibition featuring 150 floral displays interpreting the museum’s permanent collection.

Bouquets to Art 2010 celebrates the upcoming landmark Impressionism exhibitions from Paris’ celebrated Musée d’Orsay that will be on view at the de Young Museum shortly after the close of Bouquets to Art. This year’s annual flower festival adopts “French Impressions” as its theme as a tribute to Impressionism, one of the most original and recognizable of all artistic styles.

In the afternoon, travelers will have time to explore Union Square prior to dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Union Square at 5:30 p.m.
