This special exhibition showcases the art of 20 Latino artists from the San Joaquin Valley. More than 120 works of art are on display, offering a vibrant mix of paintings, drawings, mixed-media works, photographs and sculpture. Also featured is a dramatic altar, or ofrenda, commemorating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

The artists featured in this exhibition draw inspiration from the language, art, traditions and color of Mexico. At the same time, they are strongly influenced by their experiences growing up and living in California’s great Central Valley.  Each artist ties these two worlds together in his or her own unique way, creating an exciting diversity of contemporary art works for this upcoming exhibition.
