Come celebrate the opening of Bustles & Balustrades (and California Impressionism) at the museum’s 22nd annual wine, beer and food tasting event — Haggin à la Carte.

FashionSummer Art Workshop
Heroes and Heroines - Fashion Deconstructed

Fee for each session: $30 museum members; $40 nonmembers

Ever want to outfit yourself like your favorite superhero or heroine? Using Bustles & Balustrades as inspiration, young artists ages 5-11 will take apart garments and put them back together to create fabulous looks using some super extreme sewing.

Registration for the workshops will be by mail with sessions filled on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 25 students each. Gallery Talk

Join Jonathan Singer, curator of Bustles & Balustrades, for an evening talk about his work with the clothing in The Haggin Museum's permanent collection.

This evening event is included with regular museum admission, as part of the museum's 1st & 3rd Thursdays series, featuring complimentary food and drink beginning at 6:30 p.m.
