Ports history featured in mini-display
Stockton's professional baseball history in foyer case through the end of 2009 season

Ports history mini-displayThe Stockton Ports have partnered with The Haggin Museum to display their legendary history of baseball in Stockton. Fans can see the mini-display in the foyer of the museum through the season’s end in September 2009.

Fans can look at historic photographs of the 11-time California League Champions, as well as uniform samples, current photos and much more. The display also features plenty of historical information about the Ports organization, and its former home at Billy Hebert Field and current home at Banner Island Ballpark.

“The Ports have a long and illustrious history, and have been one of the most successful and winning franchises in California League history,” said Ports President and General Manager Pat Filippone. “We are proud to partner with another long time Stockton institution—The Haggin Museum—to present this history to our fans.”

“We are very proud of the success of our organization, and with the legacy the Ports have created here in Stockton,” he added. “It’s a pleasure to be able to share our history with our fans and to showcase the tradition of Ports professional baseball at the Haggin Museum.”
