Meet America's pre-eminent plein-air artists, watch them work, have the opportunity to purchase their paintings, and enjoy exquisite local food and wine at the gala opening weekend events held October 19-21, 2007:

Elegant Garden Party
Friday, October 19, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Kicking off the opening weekend of events is an exclusive garden party at Capecchio Ovest – the residence of Exhibition Title Sponsors Dino & Joan Cortopassi. This casually elegant evening, attended by the plein-air painters, will feature hearty hors d'oeuvres, live music, wines poured by local vintners, premiere release of the exhibition catalogue and an auction of original works by selected artists with proceeds to benefit youth art programs at The Haggin Museum and the San Joaquin Historical Society & Museum.

This exclusive event is limited to those who purchase an "A Ticket," which includes admission to all four of the weekend's events and a copy of the full-color exhibition catalogue. "ATickets" are available for $250 but there are a limited number available. Call (209) 940-6311 or e-mail AdminAssistant@hagginmuseum.org.
