Museum ExteriorThe Haggin Museum is a 76-year old art and history museum located in one of Stockton's most beautiful parks. It has been referred to by Sunset magazine as "one of the undersung gems of California."

Hours

The museum's public hours are:
Wednesday - Sunday, 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.
1st & 3rd Thursdays, 1:30 to 9:00 p.m.

The Museum Store is open:
Wednesday through Sunday, 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.

The museum and store are closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and select holidays:

  • Thanksgiving: Nov. 22-23
  • Christmas: Dec. 22-25
  • New Year's: Dec. 31-Jan. 1

Free Admission Days are held the first Saturday of each month.

Admission Prices

Museum Exterior
$5 Adults (ages 18-64)

$2.50 Seniors (ages 65+)
Youth (ages 10-17)
Students (with valid school ID)

Free Museum Members
Children under age 10 accompanied by an adult
First Saturday of the month

Admission at the museum entrance can be paid with cash only. ATM, Debit or Credit Cards cannot be accepted. Credit Cards can be used to make purchases at the Museum Store. (This information does not apply to special event reservations made in advance.)

Directions

MapThe Haggin Museum is located in Stockton, California, approximately 45 minutes south of Sacramento and 90 minutes east of San Francisco.

Nestled in Victory Park on Pershing Avenue at Rose Street, the museum is just off Interstate 5. Watch for the sign that reads "Haggin Museum Next Right."

Northbound: Traveling north on I-5, take the Pershing Avenue exit and proceed straight ahead until you see the park on your left.

Southbound: Traveling south on I-5, take the Oak-Fremont exit, turn left at the bottom of the ramp, left again at the first signal light at Pershing Avenue and proceed north to the park.

Free parking is available on the streets surrounding the park.
